BRC

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) created the global food standard to establish a single common standard for the evaluation of companies supplying retailer branded food.

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) created the global food standard to establish a single common standard for the evaluation of companies supplying retailer branded food.

BRC Global Standard for Packaging

Manufacturers and suppliers of packaging used for retailer own branded products have an obligation to implement appropriate systems and controls to ensure the suitability of their packaging for safe food and non-food use.

BRC Global Standards

BRC Global Standards are used by suppliers and global retailers. They facilitate standardization of quality, safety, operational criteria and manufacturers’ fulfillment of legal obligations. They also help provide protection to the consumer.

Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Services

FSMA is a regulatory-driven shift from responding to contamination to preventing it. It aims to ensure the US food supply is safe by shifting the focus of federal regulators from responding to contamination to preventing it. FDA FSMA includes preventive controls for Human Food and Animal Food; contains specific requirements for Foreign Food Suppliers and Importers; and identification of Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals just to name a few.

FSSC 22000

FSSC 22000 is a complete certification scheme for food safety management systems. It was initially based on ISO 22000, the global food safety management system standard, ISO 22003 and ISO/TS 22002-1 (formerly PAS 220), a standard developed to address prerequisite program requirements for food product and ingredient manufacturers. The scope of FSSC has now been extended to include prerequisite program requirements for food safety in packaging through PAS 223.

HACCP

Our HACCP services deliver against the embedded HACCP principles developed by Codex Alimentarius of the World Health Organisation to ensure your legal compliance and an effective food safety system.

ISO 22000

PAS 223

PAS 223 gives requirements for establishing, implementing and maintaining prerequisite programmes (PRPs) and design requirements to help in identifying and controlling food safety hazards in the manufacture of food packaging.

SMETA 4-pillars responsible sourcing

SMETA 4-pillars was developed by AIM (Association des Industries Marque) in order to meet the changing needs of consumer goods organisations. Placing a greater emphasis on environmental issues and business integrity, SMETA 4-pillars goes beyond the requirements of a standard SMETA audit.
